An optimal calcium and phosphorus ratio, coupled with a good source of glucosamine, chondroitin sulphate and MSM, encourages the growth of strong bones and soft tissue (tendons and muscles) to support them through their adult life.
A high meat content (minimum of 44% chicken) encourages lean muscle growth, and helps prevent subcutaneous fatty deposits.
